Read/watch the video cartoon “You’re Not Going to Believe What I’m About To Tell You.”
Consider the reasons the cartoon notes why it is so difficult to change our minds about certain issues. What topics do you find are most difficult about which to change your mind?
After reviewing the cartoon, write two paragraphs that compare and contrast an issue about which you have changed your mind (even slightly) about in your lifetime. How would you define this issue? How did you previously feel about the issue? Why? How does that compare to the way you view this issue now?
