In approximately 5-6 typed pages (not including the title page or the reference page) using APA
format, you should provide a succinct but thorough analysis of the problem, solution, and
barriers. Be sure to label each section of your paper.
Cite at least 7 high quality sources to support the arguments you make in each of the following
sections. At minimum, you must use the following source types: 2 peer-reviewed scholarly
articles, 1 newspaper or periodical, and 1 government, university, or research institution source.

Solution: What is your recommended solution? Clearly identify your solution in 1-2
sentences. Be very specific about how you want your audience to volunteer and/or
donate. Remember, this is the main goal of your persuasive speech, so make sure
you are very clear and concise about what you want your audience to do.
 I want my audience to volunteer to help coordinate the annual
fundraising auction at ABC Agency.
